Coming Soon to Anglesea

Although current projects and activities - including APA's 30th One-Act-Play Festival - have been suspended due to COVID-19, you can catch up with latest Arts & Theatre news online via 'PORTAL', presented by Surf Coast Shire Council.  See details below.

In response to the restrictions to events brought about by COVID-19, the Surf Coast Shire Council has launched #NotTheSurfCoastArtsTrail 'PORTAL', an online festival and gathering space featuring Surf Coast creatives of all disciplines.

The motivating spirit of PORTAL is to encourage connection, collaboration, community and creativity. PORTAL’s schedule features a curated combination of online and ‘in the world’ events hosted by local creatives and supported by Surf Coast Shire.

Visit the PORTAL website at surfcoastartstrail.com.au to see what’s on and register for events.

Tune into 'Theatre Matters' this Sunday, 16 August at 11am.

This weekend marks the 30th anniversary of Anglesea's One-Act-Play festival.  Although the event can't run this year, you can still get your local theatre fix when you tune into 'Theatre Matters' on PORTAL at 11am this Sunday, 16 August.

Listen to stories about theatre with award-winning playwright Janet Brown, in conversation with Janine McKenzie, Nicky Watson, Maryanne Doolen and Michael Baker.  More info and bookings available here.
